Midjourney (AI image generation) is a powerful & quick way for designers, architects, and artists to brainstorm & iterate ideas — visually. I think of it as a storytelling process, as it allows yours ideas to unfold for yourself and to be conveyed to others.

When integrated thoughtfully into your workflow at various stages of design, visual AI tools like Midjourney can especially enhance processes of inspiration, ideation, and decision-making. As a form of digital sketching, you can quickly explore many design options — earlier in the design process — and move forward with confidence.

I developed a holistic AI Vision for the award-winning LA architecture firm KAA Design in my role as Director of Design Technology. I pioneered the use of Midjourney and other AI on projects, and led a firm-wide bootcamp.
