In hidden caverns of my inner world (the Obbieverse), inspiration from everywhere and everywhen feeds a well of cool creative waters. Beauty and wonder surround me in the physical and perceptive spaces, and touch me deeply. I wish I could capture and share it all!
In contrast to my diagram-based artwork (drawings and sculptures), this is a colorful realm of imagination. I’m sharing with you some image galleries representing a range of what I experience internally and things I enjoy designing.
Midjourney helps me touch into those spaces and bring pieces of this wonder into the light. Since my Midjourney nickname is “Obbie”, I call this “Obbie-vision”
Reveling in the glorious phenomenon of color is one of my favorite parts of being alive. My diagrams and sculptures use a restrained palette because color carries so much meaning (and synesthetic connection) that it often complicates things for me when I try to incorporate it into my analog artwork. I have tried. So I love to explore color in other ways … through Midjourney, photos, and simply bathing in it every day.
